At the beginning of autumumn, leaves are just about to turn red, yellow and brown and the weather can be quite unpredictable. This was the case recently when within two hours, Croxden Abbey near Cheadle saw rain, shine, rainbow, clouds and wind.... nobody would have been surprised had snow decided to fall... the good side of this unpredictability is the different lighting giving a different feel to the place every ten minutes.
